What the form collects

Your name, phone number, vehicle registration, collection postcode and any optional vehicle details or message you provide. The form also records when you agreed to be contacted, an enquiry reference and whether the enquiry was submitted in preview mode.

What happens to your enquiry

Shift Happens uses your details to review your vehicle and get in touch about a quote and collection. Your enquiry is stored in the website’s database and sent to a private Google Sheet used to manage enquiries. Submitting the form does not send your details to a third-party buyer, arrange a collection or sign you up to marketing.

How long we keep enquiries

Lloyds Metals Limited keeps website enquiry records for 90 days from the date you submit the form.

Bank details and cookies

We do not collect bank details through this website. This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The hosting service may use essential authentication and security features.

Security and spam prevention

A temporary hash of the connection IP address is used to limit spam submissions. These rate-limit records expire after an hour and are cleared when subsequent enquiries are received. The raw IP address is not saved in enquiry records.
